VideoVertov is a digital testament, a journey through 40 years of video. kinoglas-films is proud to have found the IDEAL partner for this heavy loaded footage-conversion-programme: ZKM Karlsruhe – they’ll convert all the SD-tapes to HD-files. THANX!!! The digitizing has already begun – shooting will follow soon!

“Video Vertov” ist ein nachdenklich machendes Dokument über eine Geschichte, die vergangen ist und einen trotzdem nicht loslässt. Ein Film, der an die untilgbare Symbolkraft der Roten Fahne glauben möchte und doch nicht glaubt – voller Trauer und Trotz, Ernsthaftigkeit und Ironie. Für die Älteren eine gebrochene Erinnerung, für die Jungen eine Überraschung und ein Bruch mit manchen Vorurteilen.
